Apple Blossom Festival

As you enter the Village of Monticello in early spring be sure to drive in on County Road F past the beautiful Lake Montesian. There you will find an extraordinary feast for the eyes as the flowering crab apple trees burst forth in the warming days. The Apple Blossom Festival, held the Saturday before Mother's Day in May, began in 1997 as a celebration to shake off the Wisconsin winter and acknowledge the beauty of the village. It also highlights the pride of business and home improvement in Monticello. Pride in ownership makes for hometown pride and it is during the Apple Blossom Festival that home and business owners who have made improvements to their properties are recognized.
